When Liszó was attached to Zala county in 1947, 838 people lived here. From then on, the population declined. Today, there is a slight increase.
The number of unemployed is 30. Throughout history, the main source of income has been agriculture. The villages of Liszó and Miklósfa have a common agricultural cooperative, which works successfully. Pine trees, sold as Christmas trees, also bring a lot of money to the village. The municipality plan to build a sewerage, sidewalks, and update roads. The village has two fine churches and a bridge over the Liszó creek.
